KVR Consultant - Palm Springs, CA - Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services, the Stroke Coordinator is responsible for planning, directing, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating the effectiveness of the stroke program. The Stroke Coordinator has a strong clinical acumen in stroke care, including knowledge of program protocols that ensure facility integration of services in the care of the stroke patients for the purposes of maximizing positive health care outcomes. The stroke coordinator is responsible to ensure quality in all areas of education, patient care, patient management and performance improvement activities for the stroke program. The Coordinator is a nurse possessing advanced training and skill in his/her area of specialty.
